This morning:
(I was struck by the juxtaposition of baseball beginning and the fact that it was extremely difficult to get this picture because 1) the wind was whipping at about 45 mph and 2) the snow on the porch was seeping through my slippers and 3) the wind chill factor of about 40 below was making me shiver so much I couldn't hold the camera steady)
But still, pitchers and catchers have reported, and like seeing the first robin, that is a no-doubt-about-it harbinger of spring!

Right on, Momogus! And Pat Burrell is gonna be MVP this year...
I'm going to turn over a new leaf and be a Big Burrell Booster this year! No more "Stinkin' Burrell". Go Pat! I think he's going to have a great year and be a great asset to the team!
