How to Purl

The Purl Stitch is essentially the knit stitch in reverse. Your yarn will be in front of your needles, instead of behind as when you knit.

1. Insert Right Hand Needle (RHN) into the stitch on the Left Hand Needle (LHN) from back to front:

2. Bring yarn (the strand going back to the ball) around the back of the RHN:

3. Bring the yarn through by pushing with the RHN

4. Now slide stitch off the LHN onto the RHN
